Founded
at April, 1993, the ANAPAC – National Association
of Friends of Pastoral da Criança is a civil
entity, without lucrative ends, that congregates entrepreneurs,
religious people and liberal professionals.
The
ANAPAC have as a goal give technical and financial support
to the activities developed by Pastoral da Criança
all over Brazil, mainly at the following programs:

Child
Survival and Whole Development through basic
actions of health, nutrition education and communication,
given at the household and community levels above
all at needed communities and miserable places. |

Christian, Human and
Professional Formation of Community Leaders,
mainly the women at the poorest areas, with the
goal to support them at the responsibility with
the family and the community. |

Income Generation
for the self-sustained of the families and prevention
of social criminality. |

Promotion of Child
and Adolescent Rights, in relation to the
family, to the society and to government organisms,
meantime a better conscientization and participation
of the leaderships of the needed communities. |

Maintenance of an
Information System about the situation of
the child, of the woman and of the family in Brazil.

It
is also goals of the ANAPAC support the trade of technical
teams of the coordination of Pastoral da Criança,
at national and regional levels, to guarantee the efficiency
of the tasks and the articulation of its efforts with
public services and other areas: periodic grading the
results obtained at the whole country, through the indicators
of efficiency; promote and divulge, through the media,
the work of Pastoral; engage funds to benefit the programs
of Pastoral da Criança; and many others.
